OHIM becomes EUIPO

EU Intellectual Property Office, the new name for the EU’s largest intellectual property agency. The Office for Harmonisation in the Internal Market (OHIM) is to be renamed the EU Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) under new EU legislation published on 24.12.2015 As from 23.3.2016, which will be 90 days after the legislation came into force, OHIM will be known as the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), while the Community trade mark will be renamed the European Union trade mark.
